How do you deal with career anxiety in your late 20s?
I'm 28, working in tech for about 5 years now, and recently I've been feeling this overwhelming sense of anxiety about my career. It feels like everyone around me is getting promoted, switching to better companies, or starting their own thing — and I'm just... standing still.
The worst part is I don't even know if I want to climb the ladder. Maybe I just want a peaceful life. But the pressure from every direction makes me feel like I'm failing.
Has anyone else been through this? How did you make peace with where you are?
I'd also love to hear from people who've changed careers in their 30s or 40s. Was it worth it?
